A compact services gateway with two Gigabit and six Fast Ethernet ports running JunOS
The HPE Juniper Networking SRX210H is a rack-mounted services gateway running JunOS. It provides two 10/100/1000 BASE-T ports and six 10/100 BASE-T ports for wired LAN access. The unit ships without an AC adapter, so a separate power source must be supplied. Buyers receive a tested device with updated firmware.
This gateway suits small offices or retail sites that require a compact, managed router with eight copper Ethernet interfaces. It is not for environments that need fibre uplinks, PoE power delivery, or high-throughput WAN links beyond the provided copper ports. Larger campuses requiring modular expansion or redundant power should evaluate other platforms.
The fixed configuration of two Gigabit and six Fast Ethernet ports defines the gateway's connectivity ceiling. Networks that demand more than two 1000 BASE-T links or any SFP slots cannot use this model without additional hardware.

The unit is a rack-mount chassis; the step often missed is securing both front brackets with all supplied screws before connecting any cables.
The internal cooling fan is the only moving part; plan to replace it after several years of continuous operation to avoid thermal issues.
The six 10/100 BASE-T ports max out at 100 Mbps, so they saturate well before the two 10/100/1000 BASE-T uplinks.
