Rack server with two Xeon Gold 6244 CPUs at 3.6 GHz, 384 GB DDR4 ECC memory, Smart Array P408 controller and 8 SFF drive bays
The HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen10 is a 2U rack-mount server populated with two Intel Xeon Gold 6244 processors running at 3.6 GHz and 384 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory. A Smart Array P408 SAS controller and an Intel I350/X540 quad-port network card provide 2 x 10 GbE and 2 x 1 GbE connectivity. Dual 500 W Flex Slot power supplies and iLO Advanced remote management come fitted as standard. The eight-bay 2.5-inch SFF chassis ships without drives so storage can be tailored to the workload.
This configuration suits organisations that need high core-count Xeon processors and a large DDR4 footprint for memory-intensive applications such as virtualisation clusters or in-memory databases. The eight SFF bays and P408 controller give flexibility to add SATA or SAS SSDs and HDDs in RAID. Buyers who require drives pre-installed, a different drive count or a GPU-equipped chassis should evaluate other platforms.
The system board supports a maximum of 3 TB of DDR4 memory across its DIMM slots. With 384 GB already installed there is substantial headroom for future expansion, but the 3 TB limit is fixed by the platform. Ensure the planned workload fits within this ceiling before committing.

The server is 36 inches deep, so the rack must provide at least that much usable depth for the unit to sit fully inside.
Both processors are already seated in the two sockets; the step people miss is confirming the BIOS and firmware are updated to the latest stable version before first boot.
The 384 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory is rated for continuous server operation and typically runs for the system's service life unless a module fails, at which point the faulty DIMM is replaced individually.
