SAS interface and 8-bay limit

Storage connects through the HPE Smart Array P440 SAS controller, which manages up to eight 2.5-inch drive bays in the front cage. The SAS interface determines the type of drives you can install and caps the number of devices at eight. No drives are included, so you must supply compatible SAS media to populate the bays.

Single processor installed, two maximum

Only one Xeon E5-2690 v4 is fitted, leaving the second CPU socket vacant for a future upgrade. This single-socket configuration defines the current thread count and memory-channel population.
