HPE Networking Instant On 2930 2-Port Stacking Module JL325A

SKU CH-JTZJ-ZA2RZ

A stacking module with two expansion slots for HPE Aruba 2930 series switches

  • Stack two 2930 switches with the JL325 module
  • Two stacking ports expand uplink capacity for 2930 series
  • New HPE Aruba module integrates directly into 2930M chassis
  • Part JL325-61001 ensures correct fit for supported 2930 models
  • Stacking module design simplifies multi-switch management in 2930 networks

Two-port stacking module

The Aruba 2930 2-port Stacking Module JL325A connects two compatible switches into a single logical stack. It occupies one expansion slot and provides two dedicated stacking links for increased bandwidth and simplified management.

Ideal for expanding 2930 series deployments

This module suits network administrators who need to combine multiple Aruba 2930 series switches into a unified stack. It is not suitable for switches outside the 2930 series or for installations that do not have an available expansion slot.

Two stacking ports per module

The module delivers exactly two stacking ports, which determines the maximum number of direct stacking connections available per switch. Verify that your switch model supports the JL325A before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the JL325A stacking module have any moving parts that will eventually need replacement?

The module has no moving parts such as fans, so there are no mechanical components that wear out under normal operation.

What limits the stacking bandwidth when the two ports on the JL325A run continuously?

Each of the two stacking ports provides a fixed data rate; sustained throughput cannot exceed that port speed.

How much extra power does the JL325A draw and how hot does it get during all-day stacking traffic?

The module draws only a few watts and operates within the host switch's normal temperature range without additional cooling.
