A 4U rack server with a 12-core 2.4 GHz Xeon Silver processor, 32 GB DDR5 memory and two 4 TB SATA drives in redundant 800 W power supplies
The HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen11 is a 4U rack-mountable tower server built for general-purpose workloads. It ships with a single Intel Xeon Silver 4510 processor running at 2.40 GHz with 12 cores and 30 MB of L3 cache. Memory consists of 32 GB of HPE DDR5 Smart Memory at 5600 MT/s in a single DIMM. Dual 4 TB SATA 7.2K LFF drives provide baseline storage on the embedded Intel VROC SATA Hybrid RAID controller.
This configuration fits organisations that want a single-processor platform with DDR5 memory and hot-plug 3.5-inch SATA drives. The four 1 GbE ports on the OCP 3.0 adapter handle standard network connectivity. Buyers who require a second processor, more than 32 GB of memory from day one, or storage interfaces other than SATA should evaluate other configurations.
The server arrives with exactly one Xeon Silver 4510 CPU, delivering 12 cores at 2.40 GHz. This processor choice fixes the core count, clock speed and cache at 30 MB L3 for the life of the chassis unless a second socket is populated later. Confirm that this core count and frequency match the licensing and performance targets of the intended applications.

The server ships with two 4TB SATA 6G 7.2K LFF drives. The 4U chassis supports additional LFF bays, so you can add more 4TB units or mix in higher-capacity SATA drives later.
Twelve cores at 2.40 GHz with 30 MB L3 cache give strong multi-thread throughput for general-purpose tasks such as virtualization, file serving and light database work.
The controller manages the installed SATA drives in RAID 0, 1, 5 or 10. It is limited to the SATA 6G link speed, so sequential throughput tops out at the drive’s 6 Gb/s interface rate.
