Compact 1U Rack Server for Hybrid Workloads

The HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen11 is a 1U rack server designed for hybrid environments. It ships with dual Xeon Gold 5416s 16-core processors running at 2.00 GHz with up to 4.00 GHz turbo. The system includes 1TB of DDR5-4800MHz ECC buffered memory across 16 modules and 30.72TB of enterprise SAS SSD storage across eight 3.84TB drives.

Sustained Performance with Redundant Power

Hot-swappable redundant power supplies keep applications running during maintenance or component failure. The MR408i-o Gen11 storage controller with 4GB cache manages the SAS 12Gb/s SSD array for consistent throughput. PCIe Gen5 lanes provide high-bandwidth data paths for virtualized workloads and database applications under continuous load.

Upgrade Path from Older Rack Platforms

This bundle replaces ageing 1U servers that lack DDR5 memory bandwidth and PCIe Gen5 connectivity. The jump is worthwhile when workloads demand 1TB memory capacity and 30.72TB of fast SAS storage in a single rack unit. Remote management via iLO 6 with Intelligent Provisioning simplifies deployment at scale. Installation of memory and drives is required before use.
