1U rack server with dual 32-core Xeon 6430 CPUs, 512 GB DDR5 memory, and 7.68 TB SATA SSD storage
The HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen11 is a 1U rack server built around dual Intel Xeon Gold 6430 processors, each with 32 cores at 2.1 GHz and up to 3.40 GHz turbo. It ships with 512 GB of DDR5-4800 ECC buffered memory and 7.68 TB of enterprise SATA SSD storage across four 1.92 TB drives. The platform targets organisations running database applications and virtualisation clusters that need dense compute in a standard rack footprint.
Hot-swappable redundant power supplies keep the system running during a module failure, while the embedded four-port 1 GbE OCP3 adapter handles baseline connectivity. The MR408i-o Gen11 storage controller with 4 GB cache manages the SATA array, and HPE iLO 6 with Intelligent Provisioning provides remote monitoring and deployment without requiring physical access. Memory and drives are supplied separately for on-site installation.
Dual 32-core Xeon CPUs deliver 64 threads with 60 MB cache per socket, maintaining high clock rates across extended compute jobs rather than short bursts. DDR5-4800 bandwidth feeds the cores consistently, and the SATA SSD array supplies steady read throughput for database and virtualisation workloads. The 1U chassis airflow design supports continuous operation in dense rack rows without thermal throttling.

Seat each DDR5 module until the ejector clips click and insert every SSD until the tray latch engages; the step most often missed is powering on before running the iLO 6 Intelligent Provisioning wizard to initialise the MR408i-o controller and create the RAID volume.
The hot-swappable power supplies and the four SATA SSDs are the primary field-replaceable units; DDR5 DIMMs and the Xeon 6430 processors are not designed for routine replacement.
The dual redundant power supplies set the ceiling; if combined draw exceeds their rated capacity the system will throttle before thermal limits are reached.
