Dual 12-core Xeon 4410y processors, 1 TB DDR5-4800 memory and 15.36 TB enterprise SATA SSDs in a 2U rack server with redundant power, iLO 6 remote management and Windows Server 2022 Standard
The HPE ProLiant DL380 G11 arrives as a 2U chassis populated with two Xeon Silver 4410y processors, each offering 12 cores at 2.00 GHz with 3.90 GHz turbo. Sixteen 64 GB DDR5-4800 ECC modules provide 1 TB of buffered memory, while eight 1.92 TB SATA SSDs deliver 15.36 TB of enterprise storage. Windows Server 2022 Standard is licensed for the 16 physical cores. Memory and drives ship separately for on-site installation.
This configuration suits teams that need redundant power, hot-swap drive bays, and an MR408i-o controller with 4 GB cache for RAID arrays. The embedded four-port 1 GbE OCP3 adapter and iLO 6 remote management simplify fleet operations. Buyers who require more than two processor sockets or higher-speed networking than 1 GbE will need a different platform. PCIe Gen5 slots are present for future expansion cards.
The pair of 12-core Xeon Silver 4410y CPUs establishes the compute ceiling for every workload on this box. All memory bandwidth, cache hierarchy and PCIe lane allocation derive from these two sockets. If the target application demands more cores per socket or a higher base frequency, this server will not meet the requirement.

New to this? Buying server hardware with crypto — what to check, what it costs to pay, and what is never asked for.
No published specifications for this item yet.
The server is a 2U rackmount unit and ships with a rail kit for installation in a standard rack.
Power down the server, open the chassis, seat the 16 DDR5 modules in the DIMM slots, secure the 8 2.5-inch SSDs in the drive bays, close the chassis, then power on and run the OS setup.
The dual power supplies and the 8 SATA SSDs are hot-swappable; memory modules and processors require a full shutdown to replace.
