The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 is a 2U rack server fitted with two Intel Xeon Silver 4110 processors running at 2.1GHz. Each CPU provides eight cores and 11MB cache. The system ships with 1.5TB of DDR4 ECC registered memory installed across its DIMM slots. Eight 2.5-inch bay limit

The chassis supports up to eight 2.5-inch drive bays connected through an HPE Smart Array P408 SAS controller. No drives are included with the unit; storage must be sourced separately. The controller and backplane restrict the maximum number of installed drives to eight, so capacity planning must stay within that physical limit.

Rail kit and cabling considerations

The server weighs 40 units and measures 36 by 24 by 10 inches, so two-person handling or a lift is recommended when mounting it in a rack. A rail kit is available on request but does not ship by default. Power is supplied by two 500W Flex Slot power supplies that must be seated firmly to ensure redundancy.
