A 2U rack server with dual 12-core Xeon 4410y CPUs, 512GB DDR5-4800 ECC memory and 15.36TB of enterprise SATA SSD storage
This 2U rack server ships as a dual-socket bundle with two Xeon Silver 4410y 12-core processors running at 2.00 GHz with a 3.90 GHz turbo frequency. It includes 512 GB of DDR5-4800 ECC buffered memory in eight 64 GB modules and 15.36 TB of enterprise SATA SSD storage across four 3.84 TB drives. The package also provides a rail kit and a Windows Server 2025 Standard licence for 16 cores, aimed at organisations deploying virtualised workloads in hybrid environments.
Redundant power supplies maintain uptime during a module failure while the embedded four-port 1 GbE OCP3 adapter handles baseline network connectivity. The MR408i-o Gen11 storage controller with 4 GB cache manages the SATA SSD array through an OCP interface. Remote administration is provided by Integrated Lights-Out 6 with Intelligent Provisioning for out-of-band management. Memory and drives are supplied separately and require installation before the system enters production service.
The 2U chassis supports dual-processor scaling and includes a rail kit for standard rack mounting. The OCP3 form factor for both networking and storage controllers leaves PCIe Gen5 slots available for additional expansion cards. Supplied components arrive uninstalled, so deployment requires fitting the eight memory modules and four 2.5-inch drives into their respective bays. Windows Server 2025 Standard is licensed for the 16 physical cores present in the dual Xeon configuration.

Populate all eight DDR5 slots with the 64GB modules, then seat the four SSDs in the front 2.5" bays; the step most often missed is enabling the MR408i-o controller in UEFI before the OS sees the 15.36TB array.
The redundant power supplies and system fans are the primary field-replaceable units; the 4 x 3.84TB enterprise SATA SSDs carry a wear rating, so plan drive swaps once their endurance threshold is reached.
The 2U chassis airflow and dual redundant PSUs set the envelope; under continuous all-core turbo up to 3.90 GHz the CPU package power hits the platform limit before memory or storage bandwidth saturates.
