  • Dual Xeon Gold 5416s 16-core 2.00 GHz up to 4.00 GHz turbo
  • 1 TB DDR5-4800 ECC buffered memory across 16 modules
  • 72 TB enterprise SAS 12Gb/s SSD storage in eight 3.84 TB drives
  • Hot-swap redundant power supplies keep the server running during replacement
  • Embedded four-port 1GbE OCP3 adapter plus MR408i-o storage controller with 4 GB cache

Hybrid-ready 2U rack server

The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen11 is a dual-socket 2U rack server built for hybrid environments. It ships with two Xeon Gold 5416s 16-core processors running at 2.00 GHz with turbo up to 4.00 GHz. The system includes 1TB of DDR5-4800 ECC buffered memory and 30.72TB of enterprise SAS SSD storage. Memory and drives are supplied separately and require installation.

Virtualisation hosts and database clusters

This configuration suits organisations running virtualised workloads, database applications or multiple simultaneous services that benefit from high core counts and large memory capacity. Redundant hot-swap power supplies and iLO 6 remote management support continuous operation. Buyers who need GPU acceleration should evaluate alternative platforms. Organisations requiring pre-installed components or single-socket density will find this bundle unsuitable.

30.72TB enterprise SAS storage array

The storage subsystem provides 30.72TB across eight 3.84TB 2.5-inch SAS 12Gb/s SSDs managed by an MR408i-o Gen11 controller with 4GB cache. This capacity and interface determine whether the server meets your data-throughput and redundancy requirements. Network connectivity uses an embedded four-port 1GbE OCP3 adapter.
