Mini-tower server chassis with Xeon E-2224 3.4 GHz CPU, 32 GB DDR4 memory, and 8 TB SATA storage in RAID, FreeNAS OS included
The HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen10 Plus is a mini-tower chassis built around an Intel Xeon E-2224 quad-core processor running at 3.4GHz with turbo up to 4.6GHz. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 PC4-21300 2666MHz unbuffered memory in a 2 x 16GB configuration. The platform targets small businesses that need a dedicated file server running FreeNAS.
Four 3.5-inch 7.2K RPM SATA drives operate in a RAID array inside the compact chassis. The Xeon E-2224 has an 8MB cache and draws moderate power under typical file-serving loads. The mini-tower form factor relies on internal airflow to keep drive and CPU temperatures stable during continuous operation.
The 8TB storage pool (4 x 2TB) and the 32GB memory kit are supplied separately and must be installed before deployment. This means the buyer performs the drive mounting and DIMM seating rather than receiving a pre-configured appliance. FreeNAS is included as the operating system, providing ZFS-based storage management once the hardware is assembled.

Power off the server, open the mini-tower side panel, seat both unbuffered DDR4 sticks fully into the memory slots until the latches click, then mount each 2 TB 7.2K drive into a drive bay and connect its SATA data and power cables before closing the case.
Monitor the RAID array health through the FreeNAS dashboard and replace any 3.5" drive that reports SMART errors; dust the interior and verify fan operation periodically; the DDR4 modules have no service interval but should be reseated only if memory errors appear.
The quad-core Xeon E-2224 will reach its thermal ceiling before the 32 GB DDR4 2666 MHz memory or the 6 Gb/s SATA RAID array saturate, so sustained 4.6 GHz operation depends on adequate chassis airflow.
