Tower server with a Xeon E-2314 2.8 GHz 4-core processor, 128 GB DDR4 memory and 48 TB SATA storage in four 12 TB drives
The HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen10 Plus is a tower server built for small businesses and remote offices. It ships with a Xeon E-2314 four-core processor running at 2.8 GHz with a turbo frequency of 4.5 GHz. The system includes 128 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz unbuffered memory across four 32 GB modules. Storage capacity totals 48 TB provided by four 12 TB SATA hard drives.
A single cabled power supply delivers power to the chassis. The tower form factor uses natural airflow paths to cool the processor, memory and four 3.5-inch drives. Physical security features include a padlock eye, bezel lock and Kensington slot to deter unauthorised access in open environments. Remote management is handled by integrated iLO 5 Standard for out-of-band monitoring.
The Smart Array VROC controller manages the four-drive array for data redundancy during continuous operation. Dual-port 1 Gb Ethernet from the embedded Broadcom BCM5720 adapter maintains network connectivity under load. Four PCIe expansion slots and an M.2 slot remain available for additional controllers or networking. Server 2022 Essentials media is included for deployments of up to 25 users and 50 devices.

New to this? Buying server hardware with crypto — what to check, what it costs to pay, and what is never asked for.
No published specifications for this item yet.
Power off the server, open the chassis, seat each 32GB DDR4 stick into the four DIMM slots until the latches click, mount each 12TB 3.5" SATA drive in a drive bay and connect both data and power cables, then close the case and power on.
The four 12TB SATA hard drives are mechanical and will wear out before the solid-state memory or the Xeon E-2314 processor, so plan to replace drives as they age.
The 4-core 2.8GHz Xeon E-2314 will hit its CPU throughput ceiling before the 128GB DDR4 memory or the four 12TB SATA drives become the bottleneck.
