Tower server with Xeon E-2314 processor, 64GB DDR4 memory and 8TB SATA SSD storage, plus iLO remote management and Server 2022 Standard
The HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen10 Plus is a tower server built for small businesses and remote offices. It ships with a Xeon E-2314 four-core processor running at 2.8GHz with turbo up to 4.5GHz. The system includes 64GB of DDR4 3200MHz memory in four 16GB modules. Eight terabytes of SATA SSD storage across four 2TB drives provide fast local capacity.
This configuration replaces basic file servers or aging workstations that lack hardware RAID and remote management. The jump is worth it when you need integrated Smart Array VROC RAID and a dedicated iLO management port for headless operation. Buyers who need more than four PCIe expansion slots or a redundant power supply will need a larger chassis.
Under continuous load the single cabled power supply delivers steady power to the Xeon CPU and four SSDs. The embedded Broadcom BCM5720 dual-port 1Gb Ethernet adapter maintains consistent network throughput for file services or light virtualisation. Server 2022 Standard supports physical or minimally virtualised deployments without licence constraints on the 16-core entitlement.

The tower chassis includes a padlock eye, bezel lock and Kensington security slot for physical anchoring; it uses a single cabled power supply and provides four USB 3.0 ports on the front panel.
Both memory and drives ship separately and must be installed; the memory goes into four UDIMM slots at 3200 MHz, while the SSDs connect to SATA III 6 Gb/s bays — the step often missed is enabling the Smart Array VROC RAID volume in UEFI before installing the OS.
The DVD-ROM drive and single cabled power supply are the only moving or wear parts; memory and SSDs are solid-state, so plan to replace the optical drive or PSU if they fail, and keep firmware current via the iLO dedicated NIC.
