Two-Pack RP-SMA Extension Kit

This HQRP kit contains two 3-metre RP-SMA male extension cables with magnetic bases and a coaster. The RG-174 cables allow remote positioning of compatible antennas for improved wireless reception. Designed for indoor use with select Belkin routers and access points.

Suitable for Belkin router owners

The connectors match Belkin models F5D8230zh4, F5D7233zh, F5D8231zh4, F5D6001, F5D7000 and F5D7001. Buyers needing a different connector type, a longer cable run or an outdoor-rated assembly should look elsewhere. The magnetic base suits metal surfaces such as chassis or filing cabinets.

RP-SMA male connector compatibility

The single specification that decides fit is the RP-SMA male connector on each cable. Only antennas and devices with a matching RP-SMA female port will connect. Verify the port on your equipment before purchase.

Questions about this item

Which router models have the RP-SMA connectors these cables need?

The cables fit Belkin F5D8230zh4, F5D7233zh, F5D8231zh4, F5D6001, F5D7000 and F5D7001 routers with RP-SMA antenna ports.

Will the magnetic base hold on a steel PC case while I keep my existing PCIe Wi-Fi card?

Yes, the 60 mm diameter magnetic base attaches to any ferrous surface so the antenna can sit outside the case while the card stays inside.

How do I confirm the 3 m RG-174 cables are passing signal after I mount them?

Check the router’s admin page for higher RSSI or run a speed test; a noticeable gain over the stock antennas shows the extension is working.
