Compatible nailers

Included charging coaster

The bundled HQRP coaster provides a dedicated dock for recharging both packs without needing the original manufacturer charger. It keeps the contact points aligned and protects the cells from shorting against loose metal objects during storage.

Ideal for daily site use

Contractors who run a compatible Paslode nailer all day gain a ready spare that eliminates downtime between charges. Users of other brands or newer lithium-ion platforms should look elsewhere because the voltage and form factor are specific to the listed Paslode series.

Questions about this item

How often should the 6V 1500mAh Ni-Cd batteries be cycled during long storage to prevent capacity loss?

Store the pack in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects; Ni-Cd cells self-discharge over time so a full charge-discharge cycle every few weeks maintains readiness for the Paslode IM50, IM65 or IM200.

What runtime limit appears first when driving nails continuously with a 1500mAh pack?

The 1500mAh capacity sets the total charge available; sustained high-current firing drains the pack until voltage drops below the tool's cutoff, ending the session until recharge.

Do the batteries or the coaster become noticeably warm during an all-day recharge cycle?

Ni-Cd chemistry generates moderate heat while charging; the coaster dissipates it passively so both cells and cradle stay warm but not hot during overnight replenishment.
