What this case fits

The Hseok HS007-Handbag-Deepblack-14 is a soft polyester sleeve built for 13.3 to 14 inch laptops. It accommodates MacBook Pro 14, MacBook Air 13, Dell XPS 13 and 14, Surface Book 13.5, Surface Laptop, and common HP, Lenovo, Asus and Acer models in the same size range.

TSA opening and protection limits

The case opens 180 degrees so the laptop can stay inside during security screening. Water-repellent polyester and a soft fleece lining guard against splashes and minor knocks, but the shell is not rigid and will not prevent damage from heavy drops or crushing loads.

Inner dimensions that decide fit

The internal cavity measures 13.8 by 10 by 0.8 inches, so any device thicker than 0.8 inches or wider than 13.8 inches will not close properly. Check your laptop’s exact height, width and thickness against those figures before buying.

Questions about this item

Which capacity should I choose for a 13.3 inch MacBook Air versus a 14 inch MacBook Pro?

The inner size is 13.8 x 10 x 0.8 inches and fits both 13.3 and 14 inch models; the sleeve stretches 1 to 2 centimetres so either size works.

What does the 180 degree opening mean when I am at airport security?

The case opens flat 180 degrees so the laptop stays inside while the bag passes through the X ray scanner, meeting TSA requirements.

How does the water repellent polyester handle a spilled drink in practice?

The polyester shell repels liquid and the soft fleece lining adds shock absorption, protecting the device from minor spills and bumps.
