Purpose-built safety watch

The HTC JRTV5 is a 1.04" 4G LTE smart watch designed for children aged six and older. It combines real-time GPS tracking with voice calls, text messaging and an SOS alert button. Parents manage approved contacts and settings through a companion app. The device runs on a proprietary platform with Bluetooth connectivity and includes a 2 MP front-facing camera.

Suits families wanting controlled contact

This watch suits parents who need location visibility and secure communication without open internet or social-media access. It supports music streaming from a pre-loaded service and tracks steps and heart rate. Buyers who need a full smartphone experience, third-party app installation or compatibility with platforms other than Windows should consider other device types.

Storage and battery headroom

Internal storage of 8 GB holds photos, videos and offline music for daily use. The battery delivers 24 hours of operating time and 24 hours of standby on a single charge. Heavy GPS use or frequent video calls will reduce the operating window below the rated day. The IP68 rating protects against immersion to 1.5 metres for short periods.
