Smartwatch for Children Aged 4–12

The HTC Kids Smartwatch GPS Tracker combines 4G connectivity with GPS positioning in a 58 g wearable. A 1.04 inch touchscreen provides the interface for calls, camera use and preloaded puzzle games. Designed for ages four to twelve, it lets parents stay in touch through the SeTracker 2 app while giving children a simple, water-resistant device for daily wear.

4G and GPS Depend on Mobile Coverage

Two-way voice and video calls require an active 4G nano SIM and sufficient network signal at the child's location. GPS accuracy varies with satellite visibility and local conditions, so indoor positioning may be approximate. Bluetooth and USB provide data transfer and charging, but all live safety features need the cellular link to function.

Replaces a Basic Phone for Young Users

The watch substitutes a first handset by adding SOS alerts, class-mode scheduling and step counting without open internet access. The jump is worth it when a family wants location tracking and controlled contact lists instead of a full smartphone. It is not suited for teenagers who need messaging apps, larger screens or expanded storage beyond the 512 MB internal capacity.
