Hubbell 02201014 Cable Support Grip

This Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems cable support grip secures single cable runs in commercial and industrial installations. The closed-mesh eye style fits cable diameters from 0.63 in to 0.74 in and provides a 790 lb breaking strength. Tin-coated bronze construction resists corrosion and the unit is CSA certified for safety compliance.

Installers needing 0.63 to 0.74 in cable support

This grip suits electricians and maintenance teams supporting cables within the 0.63 in to 0.74 in diameter range using a single-eye attachment. It is not for installers routing cables outside this diameter window or for applications requiring a split-lace or double-eye mounting style.

790 lb breaking strength defines load limit

The 790 lb breaking strength is the critical specification determining if this grip handles the mechanical tension in your cable run. Mesh length measures 10 in and eye length measures 8 in for installation planning. Verify your calculated load stays within this rated capacity before specifying.

Questions about this item

Will the 10 in mesh length and .63 in to .74 in cable diameter range fit the existing conduit runs I am keeping?

The grip uses a 10 in closed mesh that accepts cables from .63 in to .74 in diameter, so it matches runs within that range.

How can I confirm the 790 lb breaking strength is holding after installation?

Inspect the tin coated bronze mesh and single eye for deformation or slippage under load; the grip is CSA Certified to the rated 790 lb breaking strength.

Does the package include mounting hardware or just the grip itself?

The product is the cable support grip only; mounting hardware is not included and must be sourced separately.
