Cable Support Grip for Bus Drops

This galvanised steel grip supports cable diameters from 0.43 in to 0.56 in with a 550 lb breaking strength. The closed mesh design extends 4 3/4 in and features a 6 in eye for secure attachment. It is UL Listed and suited for indoor or outdoor bus drop installations where reliable cable suspension is required.

Practical Limits of the Grip Range

The grip only accepts cables within the stated 0.43 in to 0.56 in diameter range; smaller or larger cables will not be held securely. Maximum load must not exceed the 550 lb breaking strength under any condition. The fixed mesh and eye lengths determine the minimum hardware spacing needed for proper mounting.

Check Your Cable and Mounting Points

Verify that the cable outer diameter falls inside the 0.43 in to 0.56 in window before ordering. Confirm the structure can accommodate the 6 in eye length and that the 550 lb rating meets the calculated tension for the specific span. No additional hardware is included with the grip.
