Duplex Receptacle 20A 125VAC

This ivory-coloured duplex receptacle provides two 20-ampere 125-volt AC outlets in a single gang opening. It is intended for indoor residential or light-commercial branch circuits that require a standard straight-blade 5-20R configuration. The smooth nylon face resists discoloration and is easy to wipe clean after installation.

Code-Compliant Safety Features

The device meets National Electrical Code requirements for both weather-resistance and tamper-resistant shutters, helping protect against moisture ingress and accidental contact by children. A wrap-around galvanised steel strap adds mechanical rigidity to the mounting yoke, while triple-wipe contacts maintain reliable conductivity over repeated plug insertions.

Installation Checks Before Ordering

Verify that the circuit breaker and wiring are rated for 20 amperes and that the existing box depth can accommodate the receptacle body with its wrap-around strap. Confirm the ivory finish matches surrounding devices and that local amendments do not impose additional requirements beyond the national code baseline.
