Product Identity

The Hubbell RACO 2416 is a snap-on aluminum conduit cap designed for 4-inch EMT, IMC and RMC raceways. It provides a insulated, UL Listed termination for metallic conduit runs in commercial and industrial electrical installations.

Fit And Limitations

This cap suits electricians closing a 4-inch trade-size conduit where a clamp-type, insulated fitting is required. It will not work for smaller or larger trade sizes, non-metallic conduit systems, or applications that demand a threaded connection instead of the supplied clamp mechanism.

Capacity And Headroom

The fitting accommodates a single 4-inch conduit with an 8.16-inch outside diameter and weighs 5.01 lb. It covers the raceway end completely but offers no additional wire-fill capacity, splice space or environmental sealing beyond the standard insulated cap function.

Will this cap connect to existing metallic conduit without additional parts?

Yes, it includes a clamp for direct connection to EMT, IMC, or RMC metallic conduit.
