Compatibility checklist

Verify that the existing box is a standard two-gang type with 13 16 32 screw spacing to match the cover pattern. Confirm the installation plane suits either horizontal or vertical mounting as required. Ensure local code accepts a NEMA 3R enclosure for the intended circuit.

Sustained exposure

The aluminum body and NEMA 3R rating resist rain, sleet and wind-blown dust during continuous outdoor service. UL listing confirms the construction meets safety requirements for prolonged use in wet locations. The cover maintains its seal and structural integrity over extended periods without a lid.
