Angled Back Box for IEC 309 Devices

The Hubbell BB2030N is a non-metallic, 15-degree angled back box designed for surface mounting in industrial environments. It accepts one IEC 309 Pin & Sleeve or Twist-Lock receptacle or inlet rated for 20 or 30 amps. The thermoplastic construction provides an IP67 and NEMA 4X enclosure rating for watertight and corrosion-resistant performance. Mounting screws are included for installation.

Capacity and Headroom

This back box accommodates 20A and 30A watertight safety shroud devices, covering the standard industrial pin-and-sleeve range. It supports a single device per unit, so installations requiring multiple receptacles will need additional boxes. The 1-inch NPT hub provides a single cable entry point; setups needing multiple conduit runs cannot be served by this housing alone.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

As a passive wiring accessory, the box draws no power and generates no operational noise. The non-metallic thermoplastic material does not act as a heatsink, so thermal management depends entirely on the installed device and ambient conditions. The IP67 rating ensures the enclosure maintains integrity against dust and water ingress during normal industrial use.
