Hubbell 60 A Pin & Sleeve Receptacle

The Hubbell BB601W is a 60 A industrial-grade Pin & Sleeve receptacle designed for secure power connections in demanding environments. It provides a reliable interface for high-amperage equipment where safety and durability are critical. The grey housing identifies the device clearly in busy electrical installations.

Suits 60 A industrial power circuits

This receptacle suits electricians and facility managers wiring 60 A IEC Pin & Sleeve systems that require a back box with a 1 1/4 inch NPT hub entry. It is not for installers needing a different amperage rating, a different hub size, or a non-metallic back box variant for their specific conduit layout.

60 A rating with 1 1/4 inch NPT hub

The defining specification is the 60 A current rating combined with the 1 1/4 inch NPT hub on the back box. This exact pairing determines compatibility with your conduit and wiring system; verify both values match your installation requirements before purchase.

Questions about this item

What amperage rating must my circuit provide for this 60 A receptacle to operate safely?

The receptacle is rated for 60 A, so the supplying circuit and overcurrent protection must match that rating.

Will this back box accept the 1 1/4" NPT conduit I already have installed?

Yes, the back box is designed for a 1 1/4" NPT hub to connect directly to your existing conduit.

How can I verify the grounding connection is effective after wiring the metallic conduit?

The cast metal back box achieves grounding through the metallic conduit connection; confirm continuity between the conduit and the box grounding terminal.
