Cat5e RJ45 Jack Office White

This Hubbell modular jack terminates Cat5e cable with a single punch-down action. It fits standard Hubbell Series wall plates and presents a clean Office White finish. The compact plastic housing measures 0.800 by 0.800 by 3.500 inches and weighs 0.02 pounds.

Installers terminating Cat5e in standard Hubbell

The 1-punch termination suits technicians who want a fast, repeatable connection on Cat5e infrastructure. It is not for shielded cable runs, tool-less keystone systems, or any plate series outside the Hubbell standard range.

1-punch termination type

The single punch-down method is the specification that decides compatibility. If your project requires toolless jacks, a different termination style, or a non-Hubbell plate format, this jack will not fit the workflow.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the standard series CAT5e jack or look for a different category rating?

The standard series CAT5e jack is designed for Category 5e cabling systems and terminates with a single punch-down action.

What does the CAT5e rating deliver once the jack is installed in a wall plate?

It provides Category 5e performance for twisted-pair copper cabling when punched down and mounted in a compatible Hubbell series wall plate.

How does the RJ45 interface and 1-punch termination affect the installation?

The RJ45 modular jack accepts standard patch cords and the 1-punch termination allows each conductor to be seated with one tool press.
