Single-gang weatherproof cover

This Hubbell Killark cover fits a standard 1-gang mounting box and accepts a toggle switch in either horizontal or vertical orientation. The aluminum housing carries a NEMA 3R rating and is UL listed for outdoor or damp locations. It ships in gray and includes the mounting screws needed for installation.

NEMA 3R rating

The NEMA 3R designation is the key specification that determines suitability; it confirms protection against falling rain, sleet and external ice formation. Without this rating the cover would not be approved for the wet or damp environments where a weatherproof device is required. Verify that your application calls for a 3R enclosure before purchasing.

Aluminum construction under load

The die-cast aluminum body resists corrosion and maintains its seal during prolonged exposure to moisture and temperature cycling. The hinged lid stays closed under vibration and wind pressure, keeping the toggle mechanism dry over extended service periods. The material does not become brittle in cold conditions.
