Hubbell 25 ft Cable Protector

The Hubbell FT3BK25 is a single-channel cable protector that covers 25 ft of exposed wiring. Its black PVC body measures 3 in wide and 3/4 in high, with a 3/4 in by 1/2 in channel that accepts cables up to 1/2 in diameter. The smooth texture and ADA-compliant profile allow it to sit flush on pedestrian routes without creating a trip hazard.

Indoor and Light-Duty Outdoor Runs

This protector suits installers who need a low-profile cover for temporary power cords, data cables or audio lines across walkways, exhibition floors or office corridors. It is not intended for vehicular traffic or heavy equipment crossings because no load capacity is rated, and buyers who need a multi-channel raceway or a hinged lid should consider a different style.

25 ft Continuous Length

The product ships as one 25 ft section, so the single specification that decides fit is whether the route can be covered in a single uninterrupted run or if additional couplers and sections will be required.

Questions about this item

Does the 3/4 in channel height limit the cable diameter that can pass through?

The channel height is 3/4 in and the maximum cable diameter is 1/2 in, so cables up to that size fit within the single channel.

What floor space does the 3 in wide by 25 ft long protector occupy when laid flat?

The protector is 3 inches wide and 25 feet long, covering a rectangular footprint of that width and length.

How is the PVC cable protector secured in place, and what step is often missed during installation?

The smooth PVC protector lies flat on the floor; the step often missed is cleaning the surface first so the protector stays in position under traffic.
