Hubbell Incorporated FT3GY25 Cable Protector 25 ft

Purpose-built cable protector for temporary floor

The Hubbell FT3GY25 is a single-channel cable protector designed to cover and safeguard one cable run across walkways or work areas. Its low-profile PVC construction suits indoor environments where trip hazards must be minimised without permanent conduit installation. The smooth gray surface blends with commercial flooring while keeping the covered cable accessible for relocation.

Consistent protection across the full 25 ft length

The protector maintains a uniform 3/4 in height and 3 in width over the entire 25 ft roll, so the cable sits at a constant depth regardless of where it is positioned. With a maximum cable diameter of 1/2 in and a channel height of 1/2 in, the internal space fits snugly around the cable to prevent lateral movement under foot traffic. ADA-compliant contours allow wheelchairs and carts to cross without abrupt level changes, and the PVC material resists flattening during extended daily use.

Lightweight PVC housing

The grey PVC body is light enough to be unrolled and positioned by one person, yet durable enough to withstand repeated rolling loads in office, retail or light industrial settings. No fasteners or adhesives are required; the protector stays in place through its own weight and the friction of the smooth underside against the floor. When the cable run changes, the entire length can be lifted, coiled and reused without tools or surface damage.
