Hard-wired GFCI protects 30 A, 120 V circuits with a manual reset, 4X-rated Valox enclosure and two-foot leads
The Hubbell GFHW13005 is a hard-wired ground-fault circuit interrupter rated for 30 A at 120 V AC single phase. It mounts on a panel or surface and uses a 3/4 in NPT inlet. The enclosure carries a 4X rating and the housing is moulded from Valox. The device is UL listed and operates from -30 °F to 150 °F.
The unit contains no fan and produces no audible alert during normal operation. Power draw is limited to the sensing and trip circuitry, so heat output remains low. The Valox enclosure resists impact and chemical exposure while maintaining the 4X environmental seal. Operating temperature limits are -30 °F minimum and 150 °F maximum.
Factory-fitted 2 ft leads connect directly to the protected circuit, removing the need for separate pigtails. Manual reset requires deliberate operator action after a fault clears. No bundled software or configuration tools are supplied. The accessory set consists solely of the GFCI module with its attached leads.

Connect the two-foot leads to the 120 V AC supply, secure the 3/4 in NPT inlet, and mount the Valox enclosure on the panel or surface; the step often missed is verifying the manual reset button functions before closing the cover.
Periodically press the manual reset button to confirm the 30 A GFCI still trips correctly; if the device fails to trip or reset, replace the entire hard-wired unit.
The maximum operating temperature is 150 °F; sustained ambient heat above that level will cause the device to cease functioning.
