Hard-wired GFCI for 240 V circuits

This hard-wired ground-fault circuit interrupter is rated for 30 A at 240 V AC single phase. It is intended for panel or surface mounting in locations that require personnel protection on 240 V branch circuits. The enclosure carries a 4X rating and is moulded from Valox material. A 3/4 in NPT inlet accepts standard conduit entries.

Thermal range and quiet operation

The device operates from -30 °F to 150 °F without an audible alert, so it adds no noise in normal service. Power draw is limited to the sensing and trip circuitry inside the 4X enclosure. Manual reset ensures the circuit stays open until a deliberate restart after a fault.

Behaviour under sustained fault conditions

When a ground fault persists the breaker trips and remains open until the manual reset is actuated, preventing automatic re-energisation of a faulty circuit.
