This ivory toggle switch is a double-pole device rated for 20 A at 120/277 V AC. It is intended for residential or light-commercial lighting circuits that require both legs of a circuit to be opened simultaneously. The maintained-action toggle stays in the position set by the user.

Capacity and Headroom

The switch handles up to 20 A and carries a 1 hp motor rating, making it suitable for small fan or pump loads on either 120 V or 277 V supplies. It accepts copper conductors from 14 AWG to 10 AWG via back or side wiring terminals. Circuits exceeding 20 A or requiring three-pole control are beyond its rating.
