Single-pole weather cover

The Hubbell HBL15NCBK is a black protective cover for Series 15 and Series 16 single-pole connectors rated at 150 Amp. It shields the connection point in temporary power distribution setups used for entertainment, theme parks, carnival equipment, concerts and movie production. Assembly and disassembly require no special tools, only the high-strength non-conductive retaining screw that locks the contacts to the insulated sleeve.

Outdoor temporary power crews

This cover suits technicians who need to weather-proof single-pole plugs and receptacles in exposed locations. It is not intended for permanent building wiring, for multi-pole configurations or for applications that exceed the 150 Amp series rating. Buyers who need a different ampacity or a multi-conductor weather seal should look at other product lines.

Sustained environmental exposure

The cover maintains its seal during extended outdoor use, protecting the connector interface from rain, dust and debris while the circuit carries continuous load. Because no special tools are needed, the retaining screw can be inspected and re-tightened quickly during long-running events without interrupting the power feed. The non-conductive screw material prevents accidental shorts during repeated service cycles.
