Hubbell 30A Locking Connector

The Hubbell HBL2813BK is a straight-orientation locking connector rated for 30 amps at 120/208 volts AC. It features a four-pole, five-wire configuration matching the NEMA L21-30R standard. The housing is made from black nylon with brass contacts and screw terminals for wire connection.

Replaces worn industrial plugs

This connector serves as a direct replacement for damaged or ageing L21-30R locking plugs on three-phase equipment. The upgrade is worth it when the existing housing shows cracking, the contacts are corroded, or the locking mechanism no longer engages securely. Chemical and impact resistance extends service life in harsh environments.

Suits three-phase equipment wiring

Electricians and maintenance teams wiring 30-amp three-phase loads up to the maximum cable diameter of 1.15 inches will find this connector suitable. It is not for applications requiring a shrouded housing, an integrated cap or cover, or a higher IP rating than IP20. Single-phase or lower-amperage circuits need a different NEMA configuration.
