1-Gang GFCI Box Cover

This gray thermoplastic elastomer cover fits a single-gang outlet box and is designed for vertical mounting with a GFCI receptacle. It carries UL and CSA listings and a NEMA 1 rating for indoor use. The lidless design leaves the device fully exposed for quick access.

NEMA 1 Indoor Limitation

The NEMA 1 rating means the cover is intended only for dry indoor locations and does not protect against water ingress or outdoor exposure. Vertical mounting orientation is fixed, so horizontal installations are not supported. No lid is included, leaving the receptacle face open to the environment.

Check Box Depth and Device Fit

Verify that your existing single-gang box provides enough depth for the GFCI body behind this cover plate. Confirm the receptacle mounts vertically and matches the 1-gang footprint. The cover ships new and is restricted from sale in certain states, so check local availability before ordering.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 1-gang or a multi-gang cover for my single GFCI outlet?

The HBL3060 is a 1-gang cover designed for a single GFCI receptacle. Select this version when you have only one device to protect.

What does the NEMA 1 rating mean for daily use?

A NEMA 1 rating means the thermoplastic elastomer cover provides indoor protection against contact with the enclosed wiring and falling dirt.

Does the UL and CSA listing limit the voltage or amperage I can run through the box?

The UL and CSA standards certify the cover material and construction for general electrical use; they do not impose a specific voltage or amperage cap on the circuit.
