Watertight Flanged Locking Receptacle

This Hubbell wiring device is a NEMA L15-20R receptacle rated for 20 A at 250V AC three-phase power. Its thermoplastic elastomer housing carries NEMA enclosure ratings 12, 4, 4X, 6 and 6P for watertight protection. The unit suits industrial environments requiring a straight, flush-mounted connection point.

Verify NEMA configuration and mounting

Confirm your installation uses a NEMA L15-20R configuration with three poles and four wires at 250V AC three-phase. The rectangular flange is designed for flush mounting with screw-terminal wiring. Ensure the enclosure rating matches the environmental demands of the location before ordering.

Yellow housing aids identification

The yellow thermoplastic elastomer housing provides high visibility in industrial settings for quick identification. Standard screw-terminal wiring style allows for conventional installation without specialised tooling. The single-gang, shroudless design keeps the unit compact for standard flush-mount boxes.

The receptacle is supplied as a single unit. A matching NEMA L15-20P plug and any protective cover must be purchased separately.

The L15-20R configuration provides three poles, four wires and a 20 A, 250 V AC rating for three-phase loads.

What does the NEMA 4X and 6P rating mean for daily use?

The enclosure resists corrosion, directed water jets and prolonged submersion, so the receptacle stays sealed in wash-down or outdoor environments.
