Single-Gang Weatherproof Cover

The Hubbell HBL7770 is a cast-aluminium cover designed for vertical mounting on FS or FD weatherproof boxes. It accepts a single 50 A straight-blade or 50 A twist-lock receptacle and includes a neoprene gasket with self-closing lid. The aluminium finish resists corrosion in damp or outdoor locations. Mounting screws are supplied for immediate installation.

Replaces Damaged or Missing Box Covers

This cover replaces a cracked, corroded or lost lid on an existing single-gang weatherproof box. The upgrade is worth it when the original gasket has hardened or the hinge no longer seals, letting moisture reach the wiring compartment. A new self-closing lid restores the enclosure’s environmental rating without rewiring the circuit.

Limited to One-Gang Vertical Boxes

The cover fits only single-gang FS or FD boxes mounted vertically and drilled for a 50 A receptacle pattern. It cannot be used on horizontal boxes, multi-gang enclosures or smaller device openings. Builders needing a horizontal orientation, additional gangs or a different receptacle configuration must select a different cover model.
