Questions about this item
What NEMA configuration does the HBL8300RED use, and what amperage does that standard cap it at?
The receptacle follows the 5-20R configuration, which limits it to 20 A at 125 V AC.
What box depth and wire gauges are required to mount this duplex receptacle?
It fits a standard flush box and accepts #12 to #10 AWG stranded or solid copper wire on both back and side terminals.
How is the grounding clip installed, and which step is commonly missed?
Attach the supplied grounding clip to the green grounding screw before securing the device to the box; omitting the clip breaks the four-point grounding path.
