Liquid-tight cord connector for ¼ in NPT entry

The Hubbell HJ1002G accepts a single cable between .14 in and .20 in diameter and threads into a ¼ in male NPT box opening. Its straight nylon body is coloured gray and provides an insulated, liquid-tight seal without any external strain-relief accessory. The connector measures 1 5/16 in from the box face to the end of the gland and carries CSA LR27378 and UL E54218 listings. It is supplied new and ready for installation in electrical enclosures.

Nylon construction and straight mounting style

The all-nylon body resists corrosion and chemicals while keeping weight low, and the gray colour matches standard conduit finishes. Because there is no external strain-relief component, the connector sits close to the enclosure wall, saving space in tight junction boxes or panel cut-outs. The straight profile allows cable to exit perpendicular to the mounting surface, which simplifies routing when bends must be kept to a minimum. Insulation is built into the connector, so no separate insulating bushing is required.

Cable diameter range .14 in to .20 in

This single dimension determines whether the HJ1002G will seal properly around your conductor; cables outside the .14 in to .20 in range will not achieve a liquid-tight fit. The ¼ in MNPT thread fixes the mounting interface, so the enclosure must provide a matching female NPT opening. Installers needing to pass larger cables, multiple conductors, or a different thread size will need a different connector model.
