Single-gang device box for conduit runs
The KILLARK FST-2M is a single-gang malleable iron box designed to house wiring devices in conduit systems. Its 18.0 cu in capacity accommodates conductors and splices for residential or light-commercial installations. The gray finish resists corrosion in damp or outdoor locations.
Threaded hubs and internal grounding simplify wiring
Three 3/4 in tapered-thread hubs accept rigid or IMC conduit without additional bushings. An internal grounding screw provides a code-compliant equipment-ground connection inside the box. Mounting holes on 0.75 in centres allow direct attachment to structural surfaces or mounting plates.
Supplied hardware reduces separate trips
The box ships with the grounding screw installed and hub threads protected, so the installer can pull conductors and make terminations immediately. No separate cover, gasket or mounting screws are included, allowing the electrician to select the appropriate device cover for the application.

Questions about this item
What does the 3/4-inch hub size limit in practice?
The 3/4-inch tapered thread hub accepts conduit or fittings of that trade size, cabling capacity is limited by the 18 cu in box volume.
What mounting pattern does the box require?
Mounting holes are on 0.75-inch centres, so the surface must accept fasteners spaced at that distance.
How is the internal grounding screw installed, and what step is often missed?
The grounding screw threads into the malleable iron box; the step often missed is tightening it before pulling conductors so the ground path is secure.
