Liquid-tight 90-degree connector

This gray nylon cord connector accepts a single cable with a diameter between 0.38 in and 0.50 in. It threads into a 1/2 in MNPT box opening and bends 90 degrees to route cable in tight spaces. The insulated body carries CSA LR27378 and UL E54218 listings for wet locations. No external strain relief is fitted.

Cord diameter range limits use

The connector only seals cables from 0.38 in to 0.50 in, so thinner or thicker cords cannot be used. The fixed 1/2 in MNPT thread restricts it to matching box entries. Without external strain relief, the gland alone resists pull-out forces. The 90-degree body requires clearance behind the enclosure.

Fits one cable up to 0.50 in

It comfortably handles a single cable at the top of the diameter range while maintaining a liquid-tight seal. Runs out of capacity beyond 0.50 in or when multiple cables are needed. The 1 7/16 in installed length adds minimal depth inside the box. Builders needing larger cords or strain relief must choose a different fitting.

Questions about this item

Which cord diameter range should I choose for my cables?

The connector accepts cords from .38 in to .50 in diameter, so match your cable size to that range.

What does the 90 degree style mean when installed?

The 90 degree style routes the cord at a right angle from the box, saving space in tight enclosures.

What does the 1/2 in MNPT box connection cap in practice?

The 1/2 in MNPT thread fits standard half-inch knockouts and limits the connector to that trade size.
