1/2 in 90° Liquid-Tight Connector

This zinc-plated steel connector accepts cords from .38 to .50 inches in diameter and threads into a 1/2 in MNPT box opening. The blue gland colour identifies the cord range at a glance. It is designed for single-cord strain relief in wet or dusty locations.

Sustained environmental sealing

The 90-degree body routes the cable close to the enclosure wall, reducing leverage on the gland during long-term vibration. Zinc-plated steel resists corrosion where moisture is constant. No external strain-relief component means fewer parts to loosen over months of service.

Blue gland, silver body, compact profile

The 1 5/8 in overall length keeps the assembly shallow inside tight cabinets. Blue gland and silver body let installers verify the correct size without removing the connector. Uninsulated metal body requires grounding through the enclosure per local code.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the zinc-plated steel body of the NHC1023ZP generate when conduit runs continuously through it all day?

The connector is a passive mechanical fitting with no electrical components, so it produces no heat of its own during continuous operation.

What cord diameter must I already have for the blue gland on this 90-degree connector to seal properly?

The gland accepts a single cord with an outside diameter between .38 in and .50 in.

Will the 1/2 in MNPT threads on this NHC1023ZP mate with the older steel boxes I already have installed?

Yes, the 1/2 in MNPT box connection is a standard pipe thread that fits existing 1/2 in NPT female entries.
