90-degree liquid-tight connector

This Hubbell NHC1036 connector joins flexible cord to a 3/4 in MNPT threaded box entry at a right angle. The aluminium body and brown gland seal cables from 0.50 in to 0.63 in diameter. UL and CSA listings confirm compliance for indoor and outdoor wet locations. The 1 13/16 in overall length fits tight enclosures without protruding.

Installers needing a single-cord wet-location entry

Electricians running one cable through a knockout in damp or corrosive environments will appreciate the integrated seal and 90-degree sweep. Projects that require an insulated throat, external strain relief, or multiple cables through one fitting must use a different connector style. The non-insulated aluminium body also rules out applications demanding dielectric isolation at the box connection.

0.50 in to 0.63 in cord diameter range

This single specification decides whether the connector fits the cable. Measure the outer jacket before ordering; conductors outside this range will not seal properly or will not enter the gland. The brown colour code identifies the range on site, and the 90-degree body clears nearby obstructions once the cord is clamped.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the aluminum body of the NHC1036 generate during continuous use?

The aluminum housing acts as a passive heat sink, so the connector itself adds no measurable heat to the enclosure during all-day operation.

What cable diameter must I already have for the NHC1036 to seal properly?

The gland accepts cords from .50 in to .63 in outer diameter; anything outside that range will not seal.

Will the 90-degree NHC1036 thread onto my existing 3/4 in MNPT hubs?

Yes — the box connection is 3/4 in MNPT, matching standard hubs already installed in the field.
