Hubbell NS801W HDMI Wall Plate

The Hubbell NS801W is a single-gang HDMI wall plate designed for residential and commercial AV installations. It provides a clean, flush-mounted connection point for HDMI cables in conference rooms, classrooms, or home theatres. The white plastic finish blends with standard décor. Mounting hardware is included for immediate setup.

Sustained Signal Integrity

The plate maintains a stable HDMI connection through a fixed, threaded-insert jack that resists loosening from repeated cable insertion and removal. Its passive design introduces no active components that could degrade or fail under continuous daily use. The UL-listed construction ensures the assembly meets safety requirements for permanent in-wall installation. Signal quality depends entirely on the connected cable run.

Straightforward Single-Gang Install

Installation fits a standard one-gang electrical box using the supplied screws and threaded inserts that secure the HDMI jack firmly to the faceplate. The vertical port orientation eases cable dressing behind flat-panel displays. No specialised tools are required beyond a screwdriver. Installers needing multiple HDMI ports or different connector types must use separate plates, as this unit offers only a single HDMI outlet.

Questions about this item

Does the white plastic wall plate generate any heat or noise when an HDMI cable runs through it all day?

The plate is a passive plastic fitting with no electronics, so it produces no heat or audible noise during continuous use.

What mounting hardware do I already need to install the NS801W on a standard electrical box?

The package includes the mounting screws, so only a screwdriver and a single-gang box are required.

Will the vertical HDMI port on this single-gang plate align with older keystone-style plates I have on the same wall?

The outlet orientation is vertical and the port is a single HDMI jack, so it sits flush alongside legacy keystone plates without interference.
