Hubbell Incorporated Raco 1/2" Threaded IMC Rigid Coupling Three-piece 1502

Conduit Coupling for Rigid IMC Installations

This three-piece coupling joins half-inch threaded rigid and IMC conduit runs. Malleable iron construction provides mechanical strength for exposed or concealed raceway systems. The 1 3/32 inch overall length keeps the joint compact inside junction boxes or enclosures. It is supplied new and ready for field assembly.

Verify Conduit Type and Trade Size Before Ordering

Confirm that the raceway is threaded rigid or IMC conduit with a half-inch trade size. The coupling threads accept only that combination; other conduit types or metric sizes will not engage. Ensure the conduit ends are cut square and reamed so threads seat fully. No additional sealing compound is required by the fitting itself.

Included Clamp Simplifies Grounding Continuity

The supplied clamp bonds the coupling to the conduit, maintaining an effective ground-fault path without separate hardware. Three-piece construction allows disassembly for inspection or future rework without damaging threads. Gray finish identifies the fitting as malleable iron for visual confirmation during inspections.
