Insulating Bushing for RMC and IMC Conduit

This RACO 1402 insulating bushing protects wire insulation inside 1/2 inch threaded rigid metal and intermediate metal conduit. The gray plastic body carries a plain finish and female NPT threads for direct coupling to compatible fittings. UL 514B listing confirms compliance with standard safety requirements.

Installers terminating threaded RMC or IMC runs

Electricians pulling conductors through 1/2 inch trade-size conduit will find the 0.59 in inside diameter and 11/32 in overall length suit standard knockouts. The piece includes a clamp and requires no additional parts for basic bushing duty. It does not fit non-threaded conduit systems such as EMT or PVC.

1/2 in NPT female thread size

This single dimension governs whether the bushing matches the conduit fitting on site. Verify the trade size and thread type against the installation plan before ordering.
