3/4" EMT Set-Screw Connector

This Raco connector bonds 3/4-inch EMT conduit to a box or enclosure using a single set-screw. The steel body is zinc-electroplated for corrosion protection and carries a cULus listing. It is offered in an uninsulated, non-insulated configuration suitable for applications above 600V. The tri-head screw accepts slotted, Phillips or Robertson drivers.

Replaces compression or threaded fittings

The set-screw design replaces compression or threaded connectors when a faster, tool-flexible installation is preferred. The jump is worth it on jobs where concrete-tight performance is needed and the connector can be taped to meet that requirement. It also suits upgrades from unlisted fittings to a cULus-listed component.

Concrete-tight only when taped

The standard listing provides mechanical protection and grounding continuity, yet concrete-tight performance is not inherent; it requires taping the joint. The single set-screw limits pull-out resistance compared with multi-screw or compression alternatives. The uninsulated body offers no dielectric barrier, so it cannot serve where insulated throats are mandated by code.
