RACO 325 Octagon Box 15.5 cu in
The RACO 325 is a galvanised steel octagon electrical box offering 15.5 cubic inches of capacity across two gangs. It is UL listed and fitted with AC, FMC and MC cable clamps for secure conductor management. The grey enclosure measures four inches by four inches with a nominal depth of one and a half inches.
Suited for two-gang octagon installations
This box serves electricians and installers who need a two-gang octagon enclosure with integrated cable clamps for armoured or metal-clad cable. It is not suitable for applications requiring a mounting bracket, different knockout arrangements or a non-metallic enclosure.
15.5 cu in capacity with AC FMC MC clamps
The 15.5 cubic inch volume determines how many conductors the box can legally contain under fill regulations. The integrated AC, FMC and MC clamps fix the wiring method to armoured and metal-clad cable types. Verify the clamp style and capacity match your circuit requirements before purchase.

Questions about this item
Will the steel box or its AC, FMC, MC clamps ever need replacement under normal indoor use?
The galvanized steel body and integrated clamps are built for the life of the installation; no scheduled replacement is required unless physical damage occurs.
What is the fill limit that will be reached first when adding conductors to the 15.5 cu in octagon box?
The 15.5 cubic-inch capacity governs the maximum number of conductors allowed by code; once that volume is used the box is full.
Does the galvanized steel octagon box generate any heat or noise when circuits run continuously?
The box is a passive metal enclosure — it produces no noise and no heat of its own; only the devices mounted inside may warm up.
