45-Degree Liquid-Tight Conduit Fitting

The RACO 3444 is a 1-inch steel conduit connector with an electro-zinc finish. Its 45-degree orientation routes flexible liquid-tight metallic or non-metallic Type B conduit into enclosures. The grey iron and steel body provides a secure mechanical connection for electrical installations.

Suited for angled conduit entries in tight spaces

Installers needing a 45-degree bend to navigate obstacles or align with knockout openings will find this fitting appropriate. It is not intended for straight-through connections, applications requiring insulated throats, or strain-relief mesh integration. Buyers seeking different trade sizes or connection angles should select alternative fittings.

45-degree connection orientation decides fit

The fixed 45-degree angle determines whether this connector matches the planned conduit path. Verify the required bend direction and available clearance before purchase, as the orientation cannot be adjusted after installation.

Questions about this item

Which RACO 3444 variant should I choose for a 1-inch liquid-tight run?

This fitting is a single 1-inch trade-size connector with a 45-degree angle; no other sizes or angles are offered under this model.

What does the 45-degree angle do once the fitting is installed?

The 45-degree orientation lets conduit enter the box at an angle instead of straight out, giving a smoother cable path in tight spaces.

What thread standard does the box connection use and what conduit types does it accept?

The box end has a 1-inch MNPT thread and it fits both flexible liquid-tight metallic conduit and flexible liquid-tight non-metallic Type B conduit.
